CREFLO DOLLAR – WHAT ARE YOU HEARING?

creflo dollar, world changers church international, creflodollar, creflo, dollar, changeCreflo Dollar brought it with this message. During my quiet time this morning before work, I  was working through some Scripture and searching online for some references. I came across this article by Creflo Dollar. It really helped me to understand how to interpret the Bile a little more clearly and gave me the insight to listen more clearly to the Holy Spirit guiding me through the Word.  Check out this article. I also recommend visitinghttp://www.worldchangers.org for more from Creflo Dollar.

With so many opinions, ideas, and perspectives in the world today, it is critical that Christians know the truth of God’s Word and allow it to be the final authority in their lives. This means finding out what the Word has to say for ourselves through our personal study time, along with asking the Holy Spirit to illuminate the Scriptures to us. It also means making sure we are receiving sound, Bible-based teaching that does not add or take away from the Scriptures. In these last days, deception about the Word is abounding; and there are individuals in ministry who are preaching and teaching, but what they are sharing with their congregations does not line up with the Word of God.

Receiving proper teaching from the Bible from someone who is a seasoned, proven, man or woman of God with the character to back up their calling, is essential to staying on the right path as a Christian. Otherwise, you run the risk of being led in a direction that contradicts the Word of God. This is especially true since we are living in a time when emotionalism and intellectualism are on the rise.

CREFLO DOLLAR – A COMMITMENT TO TRUST GOD
Creflo 1Creflo Dollar teaches on what a commitment to trust God looks like in our lives. Powerful words and anointing from this man. An encouragement in my faith.

When you think of something that is immovable, the first thing that often comes to mind is a mountain. It is immovable because it is fixed in one location. It would take extreme force to move a mountain. Similarly, the immovable man is the one who is firmly fixed on God’s Word and has absolute confidence in God’s love for him. He trusts God and nothing, regardless of the circumstances, can separate him from the love of God. In addition, he has made God’s Word his final authority. He knows God’s love, receives it, and walks in it. He is fixed, steady, unchangeable, and unaffected by negative emotions or situations. He is convinced that the Word of God is true. He does not waiver.

There is a difference between faith and trust. Faith is confidence in God and His Word, but trust is a commitment to stay planted on God’s Word even when everything in you wants to doubt. When we commit to trust God, we can never be defeated.

The immovable man has a personal relationship with God and it is that personal relationship which enables him to live a life that pleases Him. Psalm 15:2-5 clearly describes this type of person.

He who walks and lives uprightly and blamelessly, who works rightness and justice and speaks and thinks the truth in his heart, He who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he who honors those who fear the Lord (who revere and worship Him); who swears to his own hurt and does not change … He who does these things shall never be moved (The Amplified Bible).

Living uprightly before God, and honoring and respecting Him are characteristics of the person whose faith is unshakeable.

Creflo Dollar posts articles every month that offer great teaching on the Word of God. I am always uplifted and inspired after reading them. Here is a great on on hearing God’s voice.

Creflo Dollar
Although God has promised victory for every Believer, it is not uncommon to experience moments when our faith is under attack. During these times, we tend to wonder if we will ever receive real answers to our prayers, and we may ask ourselves, How can I tap into the hidden wisdom of God that will bring forth my breakthrough? The key is hearing God’s voice behind His written Word.

To identify God’s voice, we must actively communicate with Him. If we want to hear from Him, we must fellowship with Him through regular meditation on His Word and consistent prayer. As Believers who have been filled with the Holy Spirit, we can also speak to God by praying in tongues. Through praying in the Spirit, we speak the very mysteries that could unlock the answers to the situations we face in life!

Speaking in tongues is not just babbling. It is an intimate form of communication with God. First Corinthians 2:7 says, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory….” According to 1 Corinthians 14:2, when you speak in tongues, you are speaking directly to God in a Heavenly language! Each time you pray in the spirit, hidden wisdom is revealed, and you allow the Holy Spirit to show you things that are hidden from everyone else—even the devil.

There is something powerful that happens when we spend time praying in tongues. It is often during the quiet times that follow that we hear the voice of God speaking truth and wisdom directly from Heaven. You may be driving your car or ironing your clothes one day, for example, and the Holy Spirit will give you the revelation you need during those intimate moments with the Lord.

Creflo Dollar helps paint a great picture of who God really is. It is so interesting and comforting to get to know God’s character and to build a solid relationship with Him. Just like a best friend.

The idea of a God who is intimately acquainted with every person on the planet is one that is unfathomable to some people. There are so many beliefs about who God is and what His role is in our lives, that for some, it may seem radical to accept any truth about God. Some believe God is a vague concept, a universal “power” that has no name or face. There are those who subscribe to the belief that God does not personally interact with or speak to men and women and still others who claim there is no God at all. What do you believe, and how were those beliefs formed? I want to challenge you to open your mind to the truth that there is a God and that He cares about you.

Because of evil, death, destruction, and constant mayhem in the world, many tend to question the possibility that there could actually be a loving God who cares about them. Questions like, “Why would a loving God let innocent people die?” and “If there really is a God, why is there so much evil in the world?” plague the minds of people from all walks of life. Not to mention, erroneous religious beliefs which say God places sickness and disease upon people to teach them a lesson, and that He is waiting to punish us for every wrong thing we do. All these perspectives, with no positive balance or understanding, create a pretty dismal picture of God. If I had never been exposed to other information about God, I probably would be skeptical myself!

I have said in previous teachings that you cannot go any further than your initial point of faith. In other words, you cannot accept something you do not believe to be true. Therefore, it is required that you open your mind to the possibility of truth, before you can fully accept it. I want you to open your mind to the truth that God does exist and that He loves you unconditionally.

I use the Bible as my frame of reference, because I have seen results from it. But even if you are not familiar with what the Scriptures have to say about God, you can look to the grandeur of nature and the precise, intricacy of creation to know, without a doubt, that God exists (Romans 1:20). Though He is invisible, the beautiful things He has created are evident for all to see and consider.

Creflo DollarSo many times in life, we feel that we are missing something, that have not reached our full potential. I know that for me personally, every day brings a new struggle. I look around and wish I had more and that “more” changes all the time. I catch myself being greedy when that is not the character of God. Creflo Dollar does an excellent job of teaching us how to overcome that spirit of lack and how we can live at the full potential God has called us to.

We are the generation Paul spoke of in 2 Timothy 3:1: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” Satan has been increasing his attacks against Believers in these last days. His goal is to cause us to cave in and quit before we experience a breakthrough, and he’s using insufficiency to accomplish his task. However, you don’t have to be a victim of this vicious tactic.

The key to overcoming insufficiency in your life is to believe in and stand firmly on God’s Word, which declares that the righteous (those in right-standing with God) will be upheld. Psalm 37:18-19 says, “The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.”

Confession plays a key role in helping you reach the good life that God has for you. Freedom from insufficiency is possible if you: (1) sow financial seed as God directs and (2) use your mouth to speak the Word aloud over your life.
